Ours Rio Free Walking Tours were inspired by a new tourism concept that came from Europe, where the people pay at the end, if they want and if they liked the tour. We believe everyone should be familiar with Rio de Janeiro’s culture regardless their budget.
We also believe, that to insure the quality, the amusement and the safe of our customers, the tours shouldn’t be paid in advance. The idea is to make our best and, in the end, you decide if it was worth it!
ALL of our tours happens with rain or with sun! Just remember to bring an umbrella or rain coat in case of rain.
No, Free Walker offers tours to Rio Downtown and Lapa (during the day and night), Rio Olympic Boulevard (also at Downtown), Copacabana and Ipanema (also available during day and night). If you want to see the Christ, the best company of Rio that offers this tour is S2 Rio
It’s not necessary to make reservations for groups with less than 8 (eight) people to ANY of our tours. You just need to show up at the meeting point and look for our unmistakable red shirts.
Now, if you are part of a group with more than 8 (eight) people, please send us an e-mail to [email protected] and reserve your tour.
Until today, this has never happened to our tours. Come relaxed that the fun and the public are guaranteed!
Unfortunately, the only payment method at the meeting point is cash. If you choose to use credit card, you can book trough our website. In most of the bars and restaurants we go, they take cards. Note that our Rio Food Tour is cancelled at the moment.
We chose with it with care and knowledge of each spot, place and stops to guarantee the safety of the travelers. Don’t worry!
Of course! The only recommendation, as in any big city of the world, is to pay attention and take care (not only in our tours, but anywhere in Rio de Janeiro). Don’t show everyone your camera.
